As the Fayetteville mayor’s race enters its last lap — and after about a dozen debates — its two final candidates have come forward with strikingly similar views on any number of areas. Incumbent Mayor Dan Coody, who is seeking a third term, and City Council Member Lioneld Jordan want job growth, and they both want green jobs. And in regards to those ever-present “quality of life†issues such as trails, culture or protecting the environment, they both can be counted on to support those initiatives.
